I need some help viewing videos on instagram. I'm using a browser with web interface, not an app. That probably makes things different.
Is there a way to see how long a video is before you start playing it? That seems like an obvious thing but I don't know how to see that.
Also, if I leave a page and come back the video restarts at the beginning. How can I fast forward to where I left off?
No insta account, so any suggestions that require logging in are out.
@ahimsa_pdx Instagram is very limited when you're not logged in, and what you are running into is quite likely by design, with no easy workarounds 
@sindarina I figured that might be true, but thought I'd ask. 
So many things are usually not allowed - can't see more comments, can't see posts other than the one at the link where you started - unless you log in. Every once in a while I run into an exception to these rules, but mostly it's pretty locked down for folks without an account.
