temporal #accessibility!
I'm in the mood to do an education thread so let's talk about this topic.
what is #temporalAccessibility, why is it even a thing, who needs it, who else benefits from it, and how can it be done?
I've talked a bit before (see link at the bottom) about differences in sleep time and #DSPS (delayed sleep phase syndrome) and promised to talk about this topic, so here goes!
so temporal accessibility refers to accommodating disabilities (and other issues) that limit when, for how long, how often, how quickly etc. a person can do something or participate in something.
this is closely related to and yet much broader than what we call "crip time".
#cripTime refers specifically to how disabled people's time seems to work different. you may finish this task tomorrow or in 2 years, whenever you find the spoons. crip time
you may walk or speak much more slowly. crip time
you're awake and out of bed whenever the fuck your body allows you to. crip time
when you write your novel, your daily goal is 100 words a day and not 10,000. crip time
