Ah yes. There are some things that are just not easy to explain to those outside their fairly specific area of effect. That said, you know how when you're a person with a gender identity best described as, "sure, ok", & you're at an age when some people go through and you're pretty sure you will too and you're wondering what that looks like for people "like you"? ...If I've a community out there I don't know about, please do say Hi! :)

I'm nonbinary, at least, and yes, this is a challenge. My doctor and gynaecologist don't know how to answer "I've had a partial hysterectomy so I don't have periods, but do have ovaries and a hormonal cycle, how do I know if I'm in menopause?" never mind anything else

@Zumbador Yes! Add in hormones that have never been typical and the blood tests are virtually useless.
