We're infinitely grateful, and want to thank you for your help and generosity once more! You have no idea how much our life is going to improve thanks to you, this means the world to us.

Wishing you all the best. Sending much love :BlobhajTinyHeart:

@Testoceratops Cat pictures are traditional, if you're up to it.

@wizzwizz4 Thank you for your message! I have around 800 pics of Clyde and Ascagne in total, I believe. I'm not proud of it but almost never did Caturday because I'm awfully bad at describing anything and it takes me like an hour for something not really good, so I don't post often. But I shall train and can still ask for help. I follow the alt text bot and I know there's # Alt4Me if needed.

But I don't want people thinking I post them just to get money, that's not how we see our babies at all

@Testoceratops If it takes you an hour to describe images, then absolutely use #Alt4Me, without shame. Accessibility is for authors too, not just readers. (I often forget this, too.)

If you want to participate in something, and there are barriers preventing you from participating in the perfect ideal way, please don't feel personally responsible for resolving them. (Also, many others are holding themselves to far lower standards.) Of all the times I've done this, it's never been the right move.

@Testoceratops And I get what you mean about "seeming like you're trying to get money", but it's obvious that money's just a means to ensure the welfare of you and your family.

The opinion of strangers doesn't matter: they don't know you, so they don't actually have an opinion about you. Almost anyone who looks into it would quickly understand. (This isn't the case for every situation, but it's the case for this one.)

@Testoceratops My only concern is that some people use the #Caturday feed for emotional regulation, and "here are my problems" posts might interfere with that. But there are ways to mitigate that, e.g. being vague about problems and positive about the feel-good bits (e.g. "money for furniture and appliances, so we can adopt Mitzi, my fiancé's grandma's cat"). If people want more transparency, they can view the thread / your profile for the full details / cost breakdown. It's not an issue afaict.

@wizzwizz4 Yeah I totally get that, I won't use the Caturday # as I don't want to be a mood ruiner and flood, especially without CW on such a tag. I'm sometimes bad at expressing myself without being negative, definitely something I shall work on, btw. Thank you very much for taking the time to write all this to explain and reassure me, it really helped a lot and will help me improve 💙

@wizzwizz4 @Testoceratops There's also #/PleaseCaption if you don't want to give credence to the crappy "Alt4You" thing by proxy.

@IceWolf @wizzwizz4 I had no idea! Thanks a lot for the tips!

@wizzwizz4 Thank you so much, I'm really sorry for responding that late! I didn't have enough spoons before, unfortunately.

I think I needed to be remembered, that it's for authors too, but I felt some kind of shame and guilt.

However, it will change now, thanks to your support!
