HI, I am planning to have some of my emails in txt formats. I use native Gmail web app currently. I have all my emails in designated label. What email client is light-weight and would allow me to save my entire label as a folder with text files of emails in them? or is there any online tool that can access our inbox and do this stuff?

While not exactly what you are asking for, but Better Bird allows for the viewing of emails in plain text view. As for downloading, I can't answer that because I don't download emails, I use IMAP and just connect to servers directly, and it has decent folder support too but I haven't tested it with the keyboard as of yet, so I'd try the Portable Version before installing it, but get BetterBird at betterbird.eu/downloads/index. @kaveinthran
